From Filthy to Forgiven - Zechariah 3:3-5 - Women's Bible Study, Christian Living, Short Devotionals
“Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you.” – Zechariah 3:4 In Zechariah 3:3–5, we see one of the most potent images of redemption in Scripture—God Himself removing the filthy garments from Joshua the high priest and clothing him in clean robes. This is more than just a vision. It’s a picture of what God does for everyone who stands accused, ashamed, or covered in the past. He doesn’t just forgive—He clothes us in righteousness.
In this teaching, you’ll learn:
• What the filthy garments really represent
• Why your past doesn’t define your calling
• How God exchanges guilt for grace
• What it means to be clothed in Christ
• How to walk in the identity God has given you
If you’ve ever felt disqualified, dirty, or defeated—this message is for you. You are not what you've done. You are who He has called and clothed.
