As a Bible Teacher and Grief Recovery Specialist; you will obtain tools to heal your broken heart from loss and grief and learn to start living past the pain again. As a wife of almost 26 years, a stay-at-home mom who also ran a successful business I was always seeking that Christian community to connect with. My childhood was full of trauma and loss, which left me full of fear, anxiety, and depression, had me feeling helpless, not experiencing absolute freedom in my adult life. I looked to the church for help but seemed to come up empty. After many years of struggling, learning God’s Word for myself and uncovering the pain from my childhood made me finally free to be who God created me to be. I have battled the idolatry of food my entire life. I have used it for everything except its intended purpose, nutrition! Unfortunately, after COVID, I found myself once again defeated by food addiction and obesity. I felt defeated and overwhelmed by the thought of losing weight again.

Do you ever feel you are being taken advantage of because of your faith? Do you often feel alone on your faith journey? Does it seem everyone is sold out to money in Christianity?
In my faith journey, I have sadly seen some of the most corrupt, selfish things happen inside the church. My faith has been shattered at times. In his letter to the Philippians, Paul reminds us that this is the time we live in. He, too, struggled to find anyone to care for the body that didn’t have selfish motives.
This episode will give some ways to avoid being fooled by pretenders and to help those who are the real deal.
