As a Bible Teacher and Grief Recovery Specialist; you will obtain tools to heal your broken heart from loss and grief and learn to start living past the pain again. As a wife of almost 26 years, a stay-at-home mom who also ran a successful business I was always seeking that Christian community to connect with. My childhood was full of trauma and loss, which left me full of fear, anxiety, and depression, had me feeling helpless, not experiencing absolute freedom in my adult life. I looked to the church for help but seemed to come up empty. After many years of struggling, learning God’s Word for myself and uncovering the pain from my childhood made me finally free to be who God created me to be. In Rome, the Jewish Christians were playing the hypocrite. Paul addresses their actions in this chapter. He also reminds them of the Judgement God has placed upon a nation or people group who refuse to submit their lives to Him. In the verse-by-verse Bible Study in Romans, we will be challenged to grow in our walk with Christ. We will do some self-reflection as we all can be hypocritical at times. I am a half a century old now! I can't believe it! As I was looking back, I was thinking of things I did right and things I wish I did differently. In John chapter 20 Jesus has risen from the grave. Mary sees the risen Lord and once He calls her by name, she knows it is Him! He uses her to tell the disciples the good news! He's ALIVE! Along with this chapter we see Thomas doubting but realizing Jesus is truly GOD—many rich lessons are woven into this story.
