For many years I had no joy and thought that it was just something Christians talked about but didn’t really experience. I also confused happiness with joy. When I realized there were things in my life robbing my joy and made changes and now, I can count it all joy as I go through various trials. Do you ever feel you are being taken advantage of because of your faith? Do you often feel alone on your faith journey? Does it seem everyone is sold out to money in Christianity?
In my faith journey, I have sadly seen some of the most corrupt, selfish things happen inside the church. My faith has been shattered at times. In his letter to the Philippians, Paul reminds us that this is the time we live in. He, too, struggled to find anyone to care for the body that didn’t have selfish motives.
This episode will give some ways to avoid being fooled by pretenders and to help those who are the real deal.
