Paul is warning us that walking in the flesh leads to death. However, as he has been discussing since chapter 6, we are to walk by the Spirit. We are no longer slaves to sin but are now slaves of righteousness. In this teaching we will get a proper perspective of Romans 8; spirit verses flesh and what that means for us.

This is a sensitive topic. We need to get our answers from the Scriptures. With one out of four women inside the church now having had an abortion, we as the church must offer hope amid pain. Do you ever feel like God can't use you because you are not educated enough, have enough money, are not a great speaker, or don't have the "looks" the world admires? Maybe you feel too young or too old. Satan will do anything he can to discount us, but God! God uses ordinary people. Jesus said He came for the least of these. He enjoys using the ones society or even the church thinks are not good enough to do great things! Remember, the first will be the last in His kingdom. He does not run His kingdom the way the world does! He isn't teaching talent; He is seeking humble servants!
