With my guidance, you will grow deeper into God’s Word for transformation. As a Bible Teacher and Grief Recovery Specialist; you will obtain tools to heal your broken heart from loss and grief and learn to start living past the pain again. As a wife of almost 26 years, a stay-at-home mom who also ran a successful business I was always seeking that Christian community to connect with. My childhood was full of trauma and loss, which left me full of fear, anxiety, and depression, had me feeling helpless, not experiencing absolute freedom in my adult life. I looked to the church for help but seemed to come up empty. After many years of struggling, learning God’s Word for myself and uncovering the pain from my childhood made me finally free to be who God created me to be. Today, we are looking at Jesus in His earthly ministry. He once again expresses to the Pharisees that He is God in the flesh. They refuse to believe the truth. We are continuing our verse-by-verse Bible study through the Gospel of John.
Jesus gives it straight in this teaching. He lets them know they are not of His Father in heaven, but instead, they are of their Father, the devil. Can you imagine the looks on their faces? Today, we face many people who profess Christ but act like the devil. How can we better represent Our Father in Heaven?

In this lesson, Jesus continues to build upon the beatitudes. He explained to the crowd that they must humble themselves and recognize that they are sinners. In this section, He now goes on to teach that once we realize we are sinners, we need to mourn over our sins. Having a heart of repentance is key to salvation. Jesus does not just leave us there to mourn; He then promises to comfort all who repent and believe. This is the beauty of the gospel.

In this short teaching, we look at the life of Corrie Ten Boom. She is a woman who helped save over 800 Jews in WW2. She also started a teen outreach center and rehab house for recovering Jews after the war. Her love even extended to Nazi sympathizers. Boom's bravery and dedication to Jesus is a shining example to us today of what it means to love God and love our neighbor.
